Re: rattle (jugodmyko)
ive been hearing this rattle coming from my car and it sounds like something might be loose, its a very faint sound like a metal ring is loose and clinging and bouncing around, its hard to explain but hopefully some of you have had this problem and know how to fix it

ive been testing it alot and it rattles when i first start my car and its idling high but stops when it warms up and then it rattles alot when the A/C is on, and what is it about the heat shield that is causing this

Re: (WhiteOnRice)
whoops, must have not been paying attention, well it started after I took a road trip to Auburn from tuscaloosa and it was a two lane road the whole way so I was droping it into 4th alot to hurry and past people, so would me pushing my car alot cause that and so do i need a new heat shield?

I can't tell you to get a new heat shield if you don't actually get under your car and look if you need it. Look where the shields are crimped together with a bolt going through their flat parts (that's where they usually snap). It's hard to explain. The road trip and the higher revs may have been the final straw. It's no reason to stop high revs though
