Random bog
So I got an 03 type s with 67k miles about 2 months ago, and most of the time drives fine but occasionally when I tap the gas when idling or getting moving from a stop the rpm will drop to 500-600 rpm for a brief second and then go back up to 700-800. It also did this when I was stopped on a steep hill and trying to get up it, no matter how much throttle I gave it the car barely creeped up the hill at idle speed and felt like it was going to stall. Any ideas on what this could be?
I've already replaced plugs and checked compression which blew 215 psi across the board, and tried running some chevron techron concentrate to see if it would help but it has not

I've read on CRSX that the only fuel filter for RSX type S is part of the fuel pump, but someone I know who knows a lot about B series but not so much about K series is convinced there's a high pressure fuel filter some where closer to the fuel rail, any one know more about this?

Re: Random bog
I took the TB off and the gasket is stuck like hell onto the TB. I got most of it off but there's still a decent amount stuck on there around the holes even after spraying it with some brake parts cleaner and trying to scrape it off with a box cutter. Does anybody know of an efficient way to scrape it off without scratching the TB face?

Re: Random bog
I replaced the TB gasket and IACV gasket with new gaskets from the dealer, and I patiently cleaned the TB and the IACV with brake parts cleaner. Though now after putting it all together and putting in my newly Kproed ECU the idle is way worse (doing what most people experience and bounce between 1-2k rpm), and the intake is loud and sounds like a vacuum leak. I made sure I put the new IACV gasket into the little groove, so I don't know how I could have caused a leak, any ideas?
