Does your car have the side airbags in the seats? If it does and someone is leaning on the door panel on the passanger side it will turn off the side airbag. Safety feature. Other than that I have no idea.

Definatly have the same problem...But i did get hit by a dear on the passenger rear side. No air bags went off and i had nothing more than a scratch but My srs light is on and it flashes passenger side air bag off when i start my car. Did you have any kind of impact over there what so ever?

Was looking at reliabilty for our cars on msn yesterday and saw this. It was not there awhile back when I looked. It is listed for 02 an 03 only. This could be your issue.

An occasional problem on this vehicle is failure of the Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS) Module that is part of the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). Problems with the OPDS Module will cause the SRS light to illuminate. Acura has released a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB #06-008, dated 3/14/2006) that extends the warranty of the OPDS control unit for 10 years or 150,000 miles. The cost to replace the OPDS Module is estimated at $205.00 for parts and $117.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65.00 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.
