Need some opinions on a Hybrid car I'm designing...

I guess you can somehow make an inline 8 like VW did by putting two VR6 engines on the same cam shaft (obviously there is no way to fit this in a civic unless you want to be driving next to the engine). But in the end you'll just have a crappy V8 with no torque.
