the noise maybe your swaybar link, re-move them and see if the noise goes away if not it can be your upper strut bearing that has dirt and very small rock, remove it, clean and re-lube

Re: (ek_sleepr)
I would read up on suspension mods before just jumping into it... and Skunk2 is known as Junk2 around here simply because their suspension for the EP3 is welll JUNK!!!

I like that you're searching and reading the FAQ, but you bumped a good thread for this question?

About the intakes... Just for clarification. A cheapo EBay intake with a K&N Filter? Does the K&N filter oil hurt the air flow sensor? Are AEM Filters lubed? What is the actual difference in HP between Cold-airs and Short Rams?

you realized you bumped a 6 year old thread right?
you're supposed to oil the filter after you clean it IIRC.
every CAI and SRI produces a different amount of hp, so you can't really put a number, but there are significant advantages to CAI's (but just make sure it doesn't rain really hard).

I bought them used with 15k miles. It was cosmetically in bad shape. In other words it wasn't red anymore. It still rides good, though. Springs didn't sag that bad after about 30k already.
The ride quality is good for street. It isn't too harsh on those bumps, however, it has good elimination of body roll.
Full coilovers are always the best, though. Just don't get adjustibles without shocks, those suck.
