K24A2 bottom end + K20A2 head?
I'm planning to have this combo done over the winter season and was looking for some help.
I have a DC5 RSX-S and would like to swap in the K24A2 bottom end...
What modifications are needed to fit the block?
Engine mounts?
Header?
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks in advance...

Re: K24A2 bottom end + K20A2 head? (integraman76)
from what i under stand the k24a2 has a 3-lobe cam in it wich is very similar to the k20a2 and the k24 head flows better at lower rpm's wich means you will produce more power under 8k. and the tsx block isnt made to rev above that so i would just buy a k24a2 and get some cams and upgrade your valve train. Im not 100% on how similar the heads are but i would do more research before dumping loads of money into a frankenstein.

Thanks for the reply...
I've already upgraded my K20a2 head (cams + valve train) so now I want to swap my K20 for the K24 bottom end...
Someone has to have this set up in their DC5...
Post up pics or info please...

k24a2 you can bolt your type S head on
k24a? out of the crv you can bolt your type S head on
k24a4 out of the accord and element you need tsx rods or aftermarket rods..
