my new "work" car!
only 43,000 (miles)
its pretty much stock -with bolt on injen, wheels, and racing cat-back set up with carbon fiber muffler and cf hood, nuesprings, thats about it.
KONI Yellows on HOLD for now, and, i can't wait to strut support it!
Tires should be in today Nitto Neo-Gen's
it's better than the 6 other Civics i've owned.
wifey poo was happy to inherit the '05

have there been so many problems with the EPS system, (like with the ABS), that they need a light to tell you when it has failed???

Re: (WhiteOnRice)
I KNOW! that bugged me at first also,
but the red stripe follows the line of the "natural" bend of the body,
to move it would break that line...
BELIEVE ME...
i've looked at it a lot...
i even thought about flames behind the wheel to illiminate some WHITE!
but flames just are not my style...
i think it looks more like a sleeper from the front... so i'll leave it alone for now.
the carbon hood is hidden because of the sweet paintjob they did!
if i wanted to try chrome wheels, it would look like this...
i have them on honey's family civic

Okay, now you're being silly. No, there haven't been that many problems with the power steering.
Mine has come on before, but that's when I've had the car up, taken wheels on & off, and pushed the car back & forth in my garage without turning it on. When I did eventually turn the car on, it read some extra resistance in the steering rack motor (due to me pushing on everything), and turned on the warning light. I then drove it back and forward a couple feet to let the steering realign itself, and after a few seconds, the motor resistance went away and the light turned off.

not trying to be silly, but i think its silly to have a light for something that never fails!
it's like having a light that says "TSW"
-Transmission Still Working-
we dont have a light that tells us when the windshield washer fluid is gone!
Wouldn't it be better to have a light for that? -Something everyone would get some use out of!
but hey, i don't know nuthin'!

If you had actually read my post, you would know WHY it came on.
Basically, it came on because I FUCKED WITH THE CAR. Then, once I let the car get straightened out again, IT TURNED OFF.
Geezus...
