sorry if this has been posted, i did a search on the k20a3 and only 4 things came up. my question is this, how much would it costs to turn the k20a3 into the k20a2. I know what the differences are so i was just wondering what somthing like this would cost. (this price would include the transmission aswell... if that can be done) Just to see if it would be cheaper then swapping in the k20a2, I own a 02 SiR (Si for most of u guys)

would be cheaper and better to just buy a Type S swap and swap it.

lets see....you'd need to get typeS pistons, rods, crank(cause they are all different in the A3 than the A2). Then, get the TypeS head, ECU, transmission, and i believe the TypeS has oil squirters in the block, so you'd need a A2 block....oh wait, i think that defeats the purpose

i will cost about 3500 + labor to swap an a2 for the a3
