headlights dont work.
On my 03rsx type s when me and a buddy took out the viper alarm, the car tripped out and threw itself into valet mode. After we got it out of that, both headlights just stopped coming on. Changed the bulbs out to no avail and traced wires as far as I could but nothings worked. Got a tip that it might be a headlight ballast, but I'm not even sure the car has them. Any type of help would be appreciated.

check the plug on the back of your headlight switch. Mine went out 2 years ago at IA. Couldn't figure it out. Pulled the plug out to find the power wire got to hot and melted the plastic on the plug causing loss of clean connection. Honda has a kit that comes with a new plug and a wire to extend the power wire to the plug. It allows a little more resistance so it won't get hot and melt the plug. You will have to de-pin the old plug and re-pin the new one with the extra wire butt-connected to the end of the old power wire. Best way to do this is to de-pin and re-pin one wire at a time, that way you can keep track of which wire goes in what slot. Good luck.
