Nope, you'd be the first. Kind of a step backwards in the evolutionary scale I would think. How'd you blow the diesel?

it is the 1600 petrol, there was a winning from the top end then at about 2000rpm i heard a loud belt snapping noise and the engine died !!!. probably better going for the civc type r engine then !! but they are costly right !

If you can go with Japanese CTR or ITR engine it comes with LSD, more agressive gearing and 20 more horses than UK version.

I'll bet it'll be much EASIER to swap in an H22 versus a K-series into your UK-spec, non-CTR EP...
It's laid out the same way, correct? With the intake manifold to the rear?

Why would it be? The motor mounts are going to probably be identical with all other EP3's.
I'd go to a junkyard and see what other motors you can get that cam in that chassis. If you start trying to put older motors in the car, you're going to have to do a ton of fab work.

Yea why not just get a K? I figured the frame should be all the same regardless of the type of motor in the EP. Honda ain't stupid, they are not going to change up the frame for the motor when all they need to do is change the motor mounts.
