Well, my Type-R is dead. I just took out the motor and tranny plus my K-Pro, put it all in a crate, and had it shipped back to SoCal. My Type-R is dead in the UK.. Long live the Type-R!!!
And now I'm leaving the UK...back to California!! WOOHOOOO!!!

Ive been looking at these guys for transmission mods/rebuilt possible lsd install. Has anyone heard good stuff about them?
1300 doesnt sound bad for brand new gears and carbon synchros on the power gears.
I've been thinking of buying this rather than buy a Type R transmission as this one would be rebuilt and hopefully handle a beating.

Hey brother what part of Socal -- im in SD-- El Cajon to be precise if your around the area I have a guy hes the best with trannys, engine builds, all that. Your trip is a dream come true for alot of us that would be my dream trip -- congrats!!! PM me for info

I recommend a full rebuild, I'm expecting your type R behavior to make it home as well so yes a full rebuild would be beneficial to your track days.

Thanks bud but I think I found a place to do a complete rebuild on my UKDM tranny, gonna go with Synchrotech and get a complete carbon gear setup and have them check out my M-Factory LSD to make sure it survived.

TRANNY REBUILT!!!
Finally got my UKDM EP3 tranny rebuilt with all brand new bearings, all new carbon SynchroTech synchros, MTEC race shift lever springs, upgraded internal magnets, all new bolts for my M-Factory LSD, and modified shift forks.
I can't wait to put this CTR motor and tranny combo in my new super secret project car....
