Well at least it died racing! Sounds like you are gonna go all out with this K24, I'm sure you will love it even more once it's all tuned.

As for my car, I have more plans for racing in SPa in Belgium, Castle Combe here in the UK, and back to the Ring again, all next year.

I am seriously looking into Drag Cartel drop in cams for my car, I am very tempted....

Just some shake down laps at Castle Combe, replacing front brakes now to prepare for 30 minute lap sessions at Spa. Was a great day, did about 50 miles of track testing out there.

Default Tracks days again!!!

Just some slight updates for my car:

1. Installed new front DC5R BC coilovers to replace my dead KW Variant 2s. So far after my new alignment and tow out settings, they seem to be working well.

2. Re-installed my OEM Type-R wheels with Eagle F1 tires, rattle canned them as near to mag blue that I could. I can't go to the Ring with the same wheels as last year!

3. New JDM OEM rear 21 mm sway bar installed, really helps out a lot for back end stability.

Next week begins my trip to Spa-Francochamps to tackle Eau Rouge at Spa then back to the Nurburgring for touristenfahrten.

It's gonna be a fun week...

I kid dude, I'm actually looking at a couple ep3's myself. There's a guy selling one with a k24a2 in it already.

Kinda random. But what kind of floor jack/lift setup is that? Looks awesome if it's mobile etc.

Its a hydraulic car lift. Not the ones we see in shops mostly but this is also commercial grade, just not used frequently.

You are correct, my buddy over here in the UK owns a small DIY auto shop, I just rent out the lift and I get to use all the tools/ air tools for free.

This type of lift is available back in the USA from Bendpak. I am currently looking at purchasing a QuickJack 5000 for my own personal use once I get stationed back in the states.

I have actually thought about a K24 myself but not in my EP3. This car will be left behind in the UK but I am planning on taking the entire powerplant back with me to put in a completely different chassis....

I was in the UK not too long ago. London is so much like New York. Love the scenery.

Well, I think I killed my Civic Type-R on the track at Spa- Francochamps. Currently I'm waiting for my car to come back from Belgium on the back of a trailer to here in the UK. Once I get her back, I will tear her apart and see what went wrong with my gearbox....

HAHAH.. well as for my on track diagnosis, it looked like the intermediate shaft oil seal on the tranny gave up the ghost then immediately began flinging tranny fluid directly onto my glowing hot header. Getting a ton of white smoke pouring out of the back was scary enough then the noises started... I hope my M-Factory diff survived...

My only photo of me racing my buddy in a turbo Renault R26 down the straight at Spa Francorchamps. Unfortunately two 25 min sessions later while going at full throttle, I think I killed my Civic...
