Re: ep3 pulleys (thabends)
it's a waste. we don't have a power steering pump/pulley, so you wouldn't need that one. The only other ones are the ac and alt. But to me that's a waste imo...nothing to be gained worth while.

I never said it was or wasn't worth it. You were the one making the claims, not I.
If we want to keep this a tech forum, generalizations do no one any good.

I've heard mixed things about pulleys. some people say don't change them because there is a harmonic balancer in them. and some people swear it works. so I'm as confused as you are.

Re: (thabends)
they do improve your low end response a bit. But like aznbo1626 stated, many do not get these because the crank pulley on stock Honda engines have a harmonic balancer (rubber o-ring) to help with the crank vibrations. Spun rod bearings would result. However, no confirmed cases of this was tied with the usage of the UR pulley.
Do a search.

No one was bickering. Would you prefer I let misinformation or unsupported facts float around in these threads?
It was to help you and others reading, not crash the thread.

Re: (Todd00)
one honda engines are internally balance k series i would assume would also be internally balanced like previous honda engines.... if u were to get a crank pulley and put it on from the box this would be bad....u need to have it balanced first by a machine shop this is a must and will save u from having trouble in the future....
