Default EP3 Factory exhaust manifold question

I have an 03 civic ep3 (usdm) with a cracked exhaust mani, and was wondering what options were for fitting other OEM honda factory exhaust manifolds.
I searched and found RSX (base) will fit fine because its essentially the same car, same with the Type S manifold BUT i'd need the type S mid pipe to go along with it.

My friend has a factory manifold and mid pipe from a 2009 civic si just laying around, and i thought maybe it could work as well.
So my question is, Has anyone swapped over the exhaust mani and mid pipe from a K20Z3 civic si to a K20A3 civic ep3?
or would it be easier to get a cheap header?

No offense, but probably because no one has ever thought about doing that before.

Most just go aftermarket racing headers or aftermarket shorty headers if they need to swap out the stock EM.

From what I can assume with most K-series motors is that any other K-series motor parts can just bolt on like intake manifolds, valve covers, heads, and blocks, so If I'm right, then the headers should be fine as well. Not too sure what that could do for performance or driveability though.

Because it's a really weird question...
Z2 should work, but again you'll probably need to modify or replace the downpipe I think since the generation gap probably leads to different exhaust tunnel paths.

Seems like good feedback to me. I will say, there are some ***-cheap manifolds on Ebay, but you can probably get an OEM A3 unit very cheaply as people take them off and toss them. I'll have one available in about a week, or you can try carpart.com
