ep aluminum shifter bushings

Re: ep aluminum shifter bushings (stealthhatch)
It makes your shifting feel more precise and less bouncy. Almost like having a short throw feeling, but it really isn't. It's cheap mod, easy to install and better shifting.

I do not know for sure, but I am willing to bet, that over time, the bushings will contribute to more tranny failures. This is because you are actually exherting much more force on the shift forks, causing bent forks and worn faces, etc. because now the forks are acting as the shock dampner, instead of the rubber bushings. I am also willing to bet, that over time you will be stretching your shift cables much more, because of the same reasons... No form of shock absorber in the system.
Just a thought.

I bought shifter bushings. Took them out after three weeks. It made it harder to get into first and second for me, and I didn't really notice that much of a performance difference.
