SKUNK2 coil overs are the BEST crap I've seen

Re: coil-over system decision (TIGER UPPERCUT)
whats the worst crap http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsmile.gif
GC had those coilovers out pretty quick, i remember checking their page and they had the CO out the same day as the RSX release. |
Re: coil-over system decision (Ricehornet)
Um....I personally would buy coils that were track proven.
How the hell do you know the quality and usability if it's release on the same day as the car? At most they had the car for one month in advance, and I doubt it's sufficient for good quality. |
Re: coil-over system decision (nEoMuGen)
the rsx coil overs on GC's website were not actually produced yet. it was just an announcement.

Re: coil-over system decision (rsx.type.s)
Go with GC, all their coilovers ARE track proven, and the RSX will be, give it time... it's not rocket science since all they sell you is a sleeve that goes on the shock. it's not like they are calibrating anything. Their springs are from Eibach http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif , aftermarket shocks, get nice ones to compliment the RSX's supposet handeling enhancements. GC is a good price but if you wanted to it can be more expensive than you'd wish for http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsmile.gif

Re: coil-over system decision (Ricehornet)
You guys need to realize something...
Ground Control uses Eibach Race Springs, all one needs to do is get free length, inside diameter, and spring rate and viola! Race springs! As far as the threaded collar is concerned, they just measured the strut circumference from the new '01Civic / '02RSX, searched their inventory and applied the part. One need not treat the process like rocket science. Besides the RSX needs shocks, er, struts, before any kind of autocross competition is attempted. The car is just too soft bone stock. Now struts take time to develop and it'll be a few months before Koni or Bilstein have any worthwhile parts available. In case you can't wait that long, Truechoice offered to revalve my friends for $2100. Save up or wait. Anthony "Mario" Crea |
