BROKEN STARTER BOLT! (Upper)
I was changing my starter in my 2006 base model when the top bolt broke off. It's out about an inch so I can put the starter on and it won't move but it's not tight. Options ????

Try whichever way you want doesn't matter.
Whatever gets the job done.
I just know that the tight spaces inside the RSX engine bay can be a pain in the ***.

Re: BROKEN STARTER BOLT! (Upper)
At least that's my experience when working with my DC5. My life would be much easier if I had electronic tools versus tools that required me to use Elbow Grease. Due to bumping up against something in the way while trying to torque my wrenches. Such as a hose, part of the engine, some kind of object RIGHT in the way. Or ***** just in a spot where it's hard to utilize leverage with your arms/hands. Which seems to be typical with the RSX design. Especially the last time I tried to get to my A/C compressor.

Elbow grease Leverage is MUCH harder to get inside the bay with the engine inside. Versus getting a tool to provide the torque. Easy Peasy.

Re: BROKEN STARTER BOLT! (Upper)
I scored pretty high on my IQ test.
I work 12hr days every week.
I do community service on weekends.
I still work on my own car and my GF's, did my own pest control to get rid of roach infestation which took 2 weeks to get rid of, work on my own electronics which is what I have a degree for. I pretty much do it all. Oh yeah I also still fit in time to train martial arts(since I am an active competitor).
I don't think I am stupid or lazy, but hey what do I know.
You probably know everything.

I know that taking a bolt out that is as easily accessible with an inch of 'grab' does not need a drill....not to mention a drill probably wouldn't fit in the area mentioned.
5 minutes with a dremel and the bolt could be squared enough so that something like vice grips would have enough bite on it to remove the bolt 'easy peasy'.

I've had to be creative to do things inside my DC5.

Like I said... the RSX has everything in hard to reach places unless you take off a whole bunch of ****.
Which it can be done without having to do it those ways that would require more time.
Just have to be creative.
My RSX runs fine and strong btw.
And A/C blows cold.

I didn't say "I" was going to dick you down.
You just seemed kinda cranky and attention craving like a bitch. So I was trying to troubleshoot what was wrong with you. Bitches love attention. Don't have to have a ***** to be a bitch. A Bitch is just somebody who wants attention from man.
