Brembo conversion from ITR
hey everyone, i have a premium 04 rsx,,, i picked up the brembo brake setup from the type r.. i was told it was a simple bolt on but i learned that the aluminum lower control arms that the type r comes with doesnt match up with where my sway bar would bolt on... i had to do some research to find out that i needed the sway bar from a type r... after finding them the last thing i knew i needed to do the conversion was the type r axles (36mm). im almost sure i have everything necessary to do the swap. ss brake lines, motul 600 brake fluid etc.. does anyone know if i will be needing anything else for the conversion. i have a track day coming up on the 21st and would love to have the brakes put on by then.
thanks!
any info is much appreciated

Re: Brembo conversion from ITR
installed the brembos with the ITR hub with the aluminum lower control arm,,,, used the type s axle because they're 36mm.. i thought this was right but i have been noticing huge vibrations coming from the front end.i think i should have got the ITR axels, because the ITR hubs are wider, the type s axels look like its being pulled out and is not in the right position going into the differential.... can anyone confirm that i need the ITR axels, or is it something else?
thanks alot
thanks alot

You need the TYPE-R axles or the S axles will eventually pop out. I did this swap on my EP3 a couple years ago. I actually still have the DC5R Brembo swap I still need to sell.

Re: Brembo conversion from ITR
if I get Brembos I wouldn't do the type-R LCAs and sway bar and axles and etc.. to much work
If I bought ITR Brembos I would just buy the S2K rotors and call it a day. A simple bracket makes it possible for the brembos to fit and the s2k rotors are the right size

Re: Brembo conversion from ITR
I have the entire kit, with a type S axle. Stock ep3 axles work too.
I am missing a brake retainer from one of the brembo calipers. I have no idea where to get this item, ive tried nissan, dodge, mitsubishi, and called brembo. Had no idea what i was getting at. Someone please help my find the brake retainer.
the whole point of this kit is for a wider stance the brembos are just a bonus... so im told.
