Re: ATTN: people who've switched between EP3 and DC5
Sorry, I guess I could have used a better word than "ghetto" I threw the post together quickly. I've driven the Ep3 quite a bit, I'm just not fond of the shifter being in the dash board/center console area.
I honestly like the leather seats/interior more over the Ep3 seats, because though they are bucket seats, the hole where the harness goes, just doesn't do it for me. The red plastic just looks cheap.

First of all those seats are not meant to have harness's...
Most ppl that drive the EP3 find that the driving experience is much more fun and pleasent... but to each his own!
I just wish we would of got the A2 in it...

I know that they weren't meant to thave harnesses, I was just using the harness word as a description for what I was talking about. Which was the red plastic in it.

Hey Immortal do you know why the shifter is where it is and the benefits of it? I think the shifter position is my favorite part of the car. I also like the "exclusivity" of the ep3. If the EP came with a better power plant from the get go, it would be a better all around car than the dc hands down. /opinions

Only thing I hate about my EP3 (2002) is that the previous owner ghetto rigged the **** outta it (wiring for headlights, stereo/speakers, suspension was rigged) so it has a bunch of "little problems" which **** me off like all hell. And the fact that its 4-lug.
Other than that, you can always swap if you're looking for more power.
But I don't hate the DC5 either, wouldn't mind having a K24a2 DC5...

Re: ATTN: people who've switched between EP3 and DC5
Im with NaHonda... At first i loved he DC5 but now im just bored with it and unmotivated to do anything to it. Don't get me wrong its fun and the power is decent even with K-Pro but its just that my heart isn't in it anymore. Not to mention replacing parts is incredible expensive for the most part. I mean it was cool at first and i was dumping money into it like crazy but now yea aside from routine maintenance and washing the car i don't really pay any attention to it...

Thanks for not opening a new thread and all but seriously... there are a lot of threads on this on numerous sites. Go test drive each as much as you can before you "have" to decide and make a smart decision based on what you want... I mean really, what makes each car better for a person is for them to decide based on what they want from the car. I hope you're not just trying to choose a car based on what the majority thinks is cool or better.
