?????I didn't say anything about the CTR?????? Did you even read my post. I said "In my opinion....." I never said the body Kit was exactly the same, I was only point out that there was and is a body kit available period. That means that Honda is paying attention to the buyers wants.

Never did I say these were facts. Loosen up bro.

Maybe your were even talking to me.

I apologize Zumo. I just noticed that. Its just, I'm tired of people making up all of these rumors about $hit that's coming to the U.S., but, never does.

Yes, the Si is coming back, but, with that damn 1.6 motor! That's sucks! What is wrong with Honda that they can't just throw in the 1.7 Vtec motor? They have the 1.7's in there now, but, only SOHC. Those 1.6's have no torque.

Purely speculation on my part:

The RSX and the RSX Type S are new to the US market for the 2002 sales year. Since they're new, the demand is pretty high, especially because they're replacing both the Integra and the Prelude. So sales will be high.

Imagine the Honda execs OFFICIALLY saying that an RSX Type R will arrive for the 2003 or 2004 sales year. It will be better in every way, performance-wise, over the currently top-of-the-line RSX Type S and will be produced in limited numbers. How many RSX and RSX Type S buyers do you think will decide to hold off on their purchase until they can get the Type R? IMHO, a LOT. This would hurt sales.

Much like they did with the 3G Integra Type R, Honda will probably wait until the initial excitement and extremely high demand of the RSX and RSX Type S dies down (most likely about 2 years) and then announce that the Type R is on it's way. And by on it's way, I mean that they'd be arriving within 1-2 months of announcement. That way, they get a new boost in excitement and demand for the RSX Type R. Since it'll be in super high demand and get scooped up right away, people who were interested in buying the Type R may "settle" for the Type S, which performs "almost" as well as the Type R. This will supplement sales.

Again, this is all speculation on my part but seems logical. Personally, I'm one of the people who is waiting for the Type R. If it never comes, then Honda loses a sale.

Nice and sussinct.

A conclusion based upon observations and conjectures. Solid logic in my book.
