AEM v2 a CAI or SRI?

I have been looking up to see whats so special about the AEM v2's. I have found that the V2 provides less gains than the CAI. It also looks like a SRI because it goes towards the back of the engine bay unlike most CAI that goes down to the front bumber. So my question is why is it priced more than the CAI, is it a CAI or SRI? What is so special about it? And does it perform better than the AEM CAI or not?

its priced more because people that don't search are prone to buying it. the V2 deals with heatsoke, just like the SRI, but the CAI deals with hydrolock. It all depends on where you live.

I have the CAI and i love the gains. and i also live in Reno, NV, where it rains and snows a lot, but i haven't had a problem yet.
