Advice on Timing Belt/Chain for 2002 Civic Si ??
I'm about to buy a 2002 Civic Si.
I'm trying to find out if I should change the timing belt/chain and exactly what it has anyway.
I called one dealership and they said that it has a chain and doesn't need changed, just adjusted. Another dealership said that it has a belt and needs changed at 105k.
Anyone with an Si have some input.
Thanks!!

yeah like dood said, its a chain. It has a auto tensioner that doesn' t need adjustment. I would try to get some kind of extended warranty that way if the tensioner takes a **** , hello new motor.
