acceptable offset and width on lowered rsx
ive been searching everywhere and couldnt find the info i was looking for but if it is out there a link to it will suffice but like i said i couldnt find what i was looking for so i thought i would ask for some help and opinion..
i realize that the offset isnt the only thing to factor in though- also width of the rim and how much the car will be lowered.. its an 02 rsx type s and it is decently low and on springs so i wouldnt be raising it up any..
what would be an acceptable "outer position" for a lowered rsx? i have included the link to a offset calculator..
and for example i went from stock specs to a 7inch wide wheel with a 35 offset which gave me an extra 16mm of "outer position" which means the wheel is sticking out an extra 16mm vs. stock.. is that too aggressive? just right? could i go more than that? i dont have a problem with running negative camber but i DO NOT want to roll the fenders. i appreciate any info and help you can give me! thanks in advance!
