Default 2006 RSX Multiple codes cranks no start

I just dropped a K20A3 into a RSX, and it turns over just fine. I am not getting any spark, and have multiple codes. It throws the following codes - P2649 (VTEC Solenoid Valve), P0107 (MAP Sensor), P0122 (Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor), P0118 (ECT), P0113 (IAT). My first thought is a ground problem. It is grounded, plus I added a couple just to be sure. I'm at a loss of what is wrong.

Pull a plug out, touch it to the block, and see if there's spark (with fuel injector UNPLUGGED.) Transmission ground attached? You definitely need TPS and MAP sensors working as well, replace those or check them for good operation

There is no spark from any of the plugs. Transmission ground is good, and I added another one to be sure. The intake manifold and throttle body came off of a running motor and the sensors worked. It's got to be wiring related because 5 sensors are throwing codes. I just can't figure out what. I was going to try a different ecu, but the green key immobilizer light blinks when I plug a different ecu in. I know B and D series you can interchange ecus, but when it comes to K-Series I don't know enough about them.

It's more generational. Imobilizers are paired with ecus, it won't start without the right one. This rule ap[plies to 7th gen civics as well, and they use the D17. Multi-meter the battery to the block and check impedance? Spark is controlled by the ECU so maybe meter the coil pack wiring. Not sure what you should be looking for voltage wise, but I imagine it would be something large. If no voltage at the coil pack harness, then look at the ECU.

Check the engine harness ground and make sure it is getting a quality connection... it should be bolted down to the intake manifold under the middle of the fuel rail... that is unless you have some type of thermal intake manifold gasket... in which case you would bolt the ground under the middle valve cover nut (this may require opening up the engine harness tape/loom to allow the necessary slack).

So I swapped out the ecu for one with KPro, and the codes are gone. It still will not start. I put in a working Main(fuel relay) because the pump was not turning on. I jumped the harness where the main relay is and could turn the fuel pump on. The immobilizer seems to be the issue, but I disabled it in KPro.

It looks like we figured out what the issue is. The shell we have is a 2005. We were told that is was an 2004. The tag on the side of the car has a manufacture date of 07/04. The reason the pump was not turning on is because the dash harness that connects to the ecu is not wired the same as a 2004. Our Kpro ecu is 2002-2004. I am used to B and D series, so this is all new information to me. Learning lesson I guess. Anyways from what I could gather is that the PRB ecu with Kpro we have needs to be sent out to Hondata to be modified to be compatible with a 2005-2006 harness. They also send a conversion harness with it. So after spending $695 for Kpro, it needs and upgrade for $310. What I learned is if you are doing a swap on a 2005-2006 RSX using a different ecu it is not cheap. Hopefully this information could help someone out.

Yup. And typically any model made after june/july of whatever year counts as the next model year for most manufacturers
