06 Civic - Reseting the oil life indicator?
Ok,
So in the 2006 Civic EX (etc): How do you reset the oil life computer once you change the oil?
I'm approaching 5000 miles and it's time to change the oil...
Oh... and does anyone know when Helms will finally have the service manual?

It doesnt say in the manual? Not sure how many people have these yet so it might be hard to get someone to say on here, but bump for an answer.

I don't recall seeing it anywhere in the owners manual. I'll go back and look again.
One of the really annoying things is that service manual is not available on the Helm site... so you can't find out anything about the car without going to Honda.
...I'm going to post another tread about what my cell phone did to the car...

Are you saying that the indicator Oil 100% will not reset itself if we do our own oil changes?
I looked everywhere in the owners manual and couldn't find what that indicator is for and how to go about resetting it..

Re: (Fobulous)
Ok,
What you do is that you press the select button until you get to the oil life indicator on the odometer.
Once there you press the select button again until the oil life blinks. Then you press the select button again until the life resets to 100%
I just made my first oil change with RedLine 5w20 Synthetic after 4730 miles.
