Yeah, that's right - our beloved NSX.

And I couldn't agree more. But w/ the flip-up headlights.

I always did like the NSX. It's one car I intend on owning after college...

ROFL I agree. That wedge shape... bring it back! It's the essence of sports cars!

Even though I doubt I will ever own a Vette I think you could say the same about it. The old Corvette's are really nice. A friend of mine used to drive a 66 back when I was in high school (early 90's) it was a really nice looking car. Their are only a couple years of Vette's that I dont care for.

Jeremy Clarkson, noted that true sports cars have popup headlights (because hey, who cares when its dark). As such their beloved British underdog, the Esprit was the last true sports car.

i think if the esprit was a tad more "curvey", it would still look like a "newer" car

the interior also =P

I wish the NSX had the Espirit's turbo V8.

It's officially designated as "Lime Green Metallic." Special order color only available in Japan. Forgot the color code though...

I am a bit partial but I still think the styling is classic 15 years after it was released

Agreed! I like it a lot in white too.

I'm a little biased, but I think the S2000 will age really well too.

Agreed. Though I've never been a fan of the rotary engine. Which is totally baseless but...still, I'm just not a fan. But man, is the FD a looker or what? Great cockpit ergo too.

FD RX-7 and MKIV Supra come to mind. I'd even go so far to say that the FD has stood the test of time (design wise) better than the NSX.

How so? Design wise, I mean.

I looked at getting an FD when I was sports car shopping long ago and still adore the idea of the FD RX-7. However, the reality of the car, to me, distracts from the pedastal I placed it on.

But this is coming from the guy that still toys with the idea of getting a 90's ZR-1, so I could be way off.

Im really glad the 5th gen prelude got mentioned! I love the older M coupes/roadsters, only with the s54 under the hood tho. And of course I agree with ITR/NSX. And Fd RX7's and DUH SUPRAS!
