Re: Official Pics of your NSX!
Hi all,so glad to finally join the NSX community outside prime(because I dont know how to register into Prime so I guess here is also OK since there is quite few number of primers member here as I see)
Here is my GPW 91' NSX.Got it last year(December 21,010) but only now really has time to registering myself here,so few pics...
BTW,there is several extra like on the car like Work Emotion CR bronze rims with 17/18 front & rear,& front small CF canard.
For the engine wise, well there is few performances part has been installed from previous owner.
-CF fuse box.
-CF intake manifold cover.
-ZeroOne fuel pump.
-SARD fuel regulator.
-Topspeed header.
-Cantrell concept induction system.
-Custom straight pipe.
-GT Xtreme double tips Ti exhaust system.
-Mugen oil cap.
-HKS sport air intake.
-RacingTAC air intake see-through cover.
-Red/blue hose.
-Downforce side air scoop.
But for now I need to replace some of this part:
--Front Inner fender.Does this thing if I buy from Honda genuine part dealer,it would come with the brake air intake(the one that has the fins because the previous owner does do mistake on tyre sizing which make the tyre scrapping the fender & the fins....so now they all almost broke)
---Centre panel console.Any NSX owner here know if there is any other aftermarket company that make the stock looking centre console without double DIN cutout?I just got myself a 94' streo unit to replace the shitty looking tuner CD changer but it turn out the previous owner does make a cutout to fit that aftermarket unit....
So do I need to look for original stuff(because turn out that SOS only sales double DIN unit only...damnn! ) & if so how much it would cost?
---Does anyone know what is the no.part of steering wheel cruise control button stack on steering ,side cover & the hub that hold the horn wiring on the original steering?
I want to put back the original steering wheel(I got NSXR replica for now) & the good news is I got the thing from previous owner which he kept.
Aside from torn out leather,it does missing all the thing that I mentioned above.
Any helps from senior NSX owner is appreciated.
Sure my NSX not even close to perfection like the two other car,& it show its age already, but the engine make one of the nicest V6 sound ever,it still going strong as it should & I JUST LOVE THIS CAR!!Greatest Honda ever!

Re: Official Pics of your NSX!
NSX to me is best car in the world, if i had one (an i wish i will) i would keep is NA.
Think about it : NSX don't look obsolete in any way.
I was in CANNES last saturday, I parked my CRZ next to a Muercielago, no boot, too wide, well still a monster nice car; but then a NSX came and parked not far, and then i thought how much i would prefer that one over the Lambo;
Just think about the quality of the rear view of the NSX.
Just think about the fuel guzzler is the Lambo...
And my personal taste says the NSX is more elegant, looks slim, balanced look.
and there is a boot
we are talking about a 1990-2004 car and it is ok compared to current cars, amazing.

Re: Official Pics of your NSX!
lol. Yeah alot of 3rd gen owners say that. Well the 3g has a very hoodline like a NSX. Similar Taillights and Similar aerodynamic shape overall. Thats probably why. I agree still not nearly as close as what an NSX is though.

Re: Official Pics of your NSX!
Welcome to the anti-prime.
You should be able to find this part on eBay used or new from your Honda/Acura dealer. However, that said, I'm perplexed as to what you call a "brake air intake." The inner fender has some vents for the A/C condensors but not necessarily a "brake air intake." Maybe you can elaborate?
It's best to get those used. However, they only come around for sale every know and then. Maybe a couple of times a year. Have you thought about getting the double din unit and getting a stereo shop to customize it? Actually, a fellow member here: cwood, may be able to help you.
You'll have to look that up, my friend.

BTW,what I mean with the air brake is the one on the front wheel inner fender that has a strips like air vent or something(which why I call it as brake air intake)
BTW,3gpreludetune,dont really take the word from all the NSX owner here.Soon you also would able to own it....just wait for the time to come,& you will be turn the white prelude into white NSX..trust me man!
P/S:BTW,what gen of that prelude?Actually if anyone had an illustrated article of NSX concept & development, the NSX shape derived on lotsa concept design that they penned & some of them are more curvious version of CRX with glass hatch, while there is working model that look almost same as the prelude(with exception of that car had a side intake)
I guess since the final draft of design had been worked by Okuyama from pininfarina, they just use the leftover from NSX design exercise to update the prelude. No wonder it had some of NSX characteristic like low slim look,& tall, long rear light.
