Cliff notes i gathered : Global development of a production model based on the Acura NSX Concept is being led by engineers at Honda R&D Americas, Inc., in Raymond, Ohio. The next-generation Acura sports car will be produced in nearby Marysville, Ohio :

Shouldn't be. The application of electric motors has huge potential. Hybrid systems are definitely still in their infancy, but you have to start somewhere. Expect hydraulic brakes to go away as the motors become smaller and move into the wheels as well.
I for one am excited for the direction that cars are going. Good, efficient gas motors with instant torque on demand from electric boost? Yes please!

I don't know. I think "Sports Hybrid All Wheel Drive" sounds a little better than "Super Handling All Wheel Drive."

Been a few weeks since anything has been reported on the NSX and I haven't heard anything from inside or from suppliers. From my experience, this means that quite a bit of work is being done.
Also curiously, looking at Honda's financial statements, it looks like they passed GM and Ford in market cap by a substantial amount a few months ago. As of Q3, HMC: 74.20B vs GM: 53.85B and Ford at 67.25B. Wow.

Honda released photos of the NSX 2.0 power plant.
A twin-turbo, direct injection, longitudinally-mounted V6 with dual front and single rear electric assist motors.

A pic from the Honda Performance Center in Ohio (supposedly). Honda will have spent 40 million on this place.

LOVE those seats! I am pretty excited with the new NSX!
I just hope that the NSX will be able to keep up with the GTR(sales, power, ETC). The GTR is fast but I hope HONDA makes it faster and better in all ways possible to set the bar higher because Nissan has. It's time for Honda to step up their game in America. No more set-backs and let downs.
