Pfft…I like RWB. Actually, I do.
The easiest stuff to modify will be the mechanical stuff…quicker turbos, more efficient radiators, etc…and then the electronic stuff. I wonder how long it'll take to crack the ECU.

It's an automatic!!! Booooooooooooo.
I kind of hope this concept fails too, and they wait another 5 years or so till acura is past its "led *****" headlight phase. It really looks no more than a heavily modified ILX.

It's not a concept, the cars are on the road for testing across America and Europe. Final production is happening next year.

They went from a normally aspirated transverse and cheap design to a much more expensive longitudinal design with twin chargers.
Some of us still don't understand why they went longitudinal, but maybe they'll tell us one day.

I'm not sure when he was working on it, but there was a complete change in the package.

The behind the scenes story is that blue prototype that ran at MidOhio didn't provide the performance that the team was looking for and that's when everything changed.
The change wasn't supposed to cause any delay in the sales dates but all know that changed.

Additional GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS:
1. The block and head are coming from Cosworth. Great news.
2. It'll have 47 computers. Woof.
Acura NSX will use Cosworth block, plus other neat tidbits

Oh. I didn't know that was the real power package. I thought they just stuffed a J Motor in there to give us a moving car to ooo and aww about.

Re: GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS
CAFE is getting ramped up, remember. It's one of those "Thanks Obama" things. :-)
They even had to change directions twice with the NSX because of it. What started as the NSX SH-AWD and a transverse motor turned into the NSX Sport Hybrid, with three electric motors and a longitudinal ICE.
