----------------------------------------------

General Information:

Accommodations: I have a home with 7 beds, 1 cot, and 1 couch. If all beds are filled, then people are welcome to take floor space, or we could look into a local resorts bunkhouse for a group rate. (cheap summer rates) Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Additional area info: Our family owns a mountain side 35 minutes from the location of where we would meet. Great for camping, quading etc. I am also a member of a local club that gives us access for almost 70,000 acres of wilderness for fishing, quading, or target shooting.

Fishing Info:
WV: its $5 for a 3 day license. This will not be needed if we fish at the base of the mountain side owned by my family, which is chock full of native brook trout (private property) There are many other areas great to fish, but a license would be required.

MD: (fees for a non resident license vary by state of residence) There are many great places to fish, and many good catches come out of them.

Target Shooting: There are plenty of places to do target shooting for those interested. There is locally a 100yd range, a 500yd range, a 1000yd range, and even a 5000yd range (not exactly sure WHY there is a marker for 5000 yd's, but there is). There is no cost for the use of the ranges.

ITR Pictures There are MANY great places to take photo's of our R's with amazing backdrops, ranging from cliff sides, waterfalls, lakes, forests, mountainous background, grassy fields, etc. I am sure we could take some amazing pictures of our caR's.

I dunno ... But I'd like to come. Just unsure about the time frame.

Splat 06-29-2005 06:06 PM

Tough to say, I think I have something going on all three weekends. And as it stands, I'm definitely booked on the 6th, so I'll withhold a vote since it's in the lead right now.

Well....i have just about something planned for every weekend of the entire summer. If something gets canceled and happens to be the same weekend as the meet then i am down. I just have insane beach visits tenatively prescheduled with others that i cannot nor really want to break plans for https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

i'll have to wait to see as the date gets closer also. there are gonna some changes in my job schedule after augest 8th, so its gonna be a last minute thing for me.

Re: WV ITR August Meet: PART III (mythias)

At this point I can make just about any weekend, after all, I live here ;-)

I would say that as far as the Sunday drive is concerned, the 13th is probably the worst, since the Garrett County fair starts that weekend, and it will be one of the busiest weekends of the summer. So it would be possible that the drive that week would be slightly less than spectacular.

I would still like to hear any comments on what ppl want me to plan for Sunday (what to do for lunch, how much driving, any other activities).

Re: (DontBlink)

To those who are unsure of coming, I really hope to see ya there. This is a very fun place to go, fun roads to drive, and lots of activities to do.. plus I plan to make Mrs. Splat's BBQ recipe (DAMN good) . https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

If you have any doubts about a meet for an entire weekend, rest assured that Ford Prefect and I can plan more than enough things to do and places to go, along with some we-todd style downtime. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Additionally, those who stay at my house do not need to worry about hotel costs, or even food costs, and the other nice things that go along with a house.

I look forward to this meet, and hope to see as many of you guys as possible. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
