Who all has Hytech products?
I know Austin does, and have read his posts and seen his pics & dynos.
I am seriously considering the twinpass exhaust. It has taken a lot of time and investigaton, it came down to just being able to wait. Just how long IS the wait anyway? Does it have to be built or does he have at least a few in stock? I will contact John tomorrow to have him answer any more of my questions. BUT, Anything that Any of you already running their stuff, header back care to share? I'd appreciate your comments, reviews and advice. Thanks in advance, A. |

Com'on people. Actually the people who could afford that setup probably have a 9-5 job and are sleeping now. |
Re: Who all has Hytech products? (Bbasso)
I have a hytech header and I am going to order hytech exhaust system. Black R has it too.

Re: Who all has Hytech products? (1GreyTeg)
I have the full system too. Many praises of it, dynoed pretty strong and sounds good. Full 2.5" system with no bottlenecks, would go great with any 2.5" header.

Re: Who all has Hytech products? (TypeR 599)
$700 I believe.

Re: Who all has Hytech products? (Nined8integtypeR)
I should have ordered wholes header and exhaust together so I don't have to send the header to John. I must wait 3 weeks or longer.

i can only dream... http://rely.net/~htimages/smile/emsmilep.gif

Re: Who all has Hytech products? (B2FiNiTY)
Yeah $700 was what he told me. You can also get it with the cat integrated into it for $925 I think.
John made the jig for the catback from my car. Unfortunately I previously had a header which had been butchered so he could not get a jig made up for stock length headers, only his extra long header which I had also purchased. I'm not sure if he has a new jig made up for stock-length headers yet or not. This is the full exhaust with Renault cat integrated that I got. http://images.team-integra.net/~team.../hycatback.jpg |

Re: Who all has Hytech products? (disordeR)
I would pay $700 for that any day.
|
Re: Who all has Hytech products? (disordeR)
To my knowledge it is $950 for the exhaust with the integrated cat...well worth it considering the cat retails for ~$650 by itself.

wow. I can't wait to send the header.

OEM 100,000 mile cat http://rely.net/~htimages/smile/emthup.gif
I didn't believe John at first about the price, until I found out a Honda OEM cat replacement for a Type R from the dealer was going to be $800. |

ahem...raises hand. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...EzZGZkMzF5NTQx I don't know what I like better, the exhaust or the plate frame. http://rely.net/~htimages/smile/emsmile.gif |
Re: Who all has Hytech products? (1GreyTeg)
Anton,
Let me know when you are gonna order. Maybe we could save on shipping. I also am planning to get this exhaust. may just bite the bullet and get his header too. [Modified by Christian, 9:31 AM 12/4/2002] |
Re: Who all has Hytech products? (GiFF)
Is it me, or it looks like he's using two different materials for the system.
The canister and resonator looks stainless steel.. what about the other piping? edit: Oh, and it looks like the muffler need to be welded to the b-pipe as I don't see any flanges. Is this true? [Modified by Cosworth, 9:39 AM 12/4/2002] |
Re: Who all has Hytech products? (Cosworth)
resonator, muffler polished on buffer, piping not
all materials stainless steel |
