The market price for this R would be pretty high. But being a CDM, it wouldn't go as high as if it were a USDM. Many people don't want to import caRs from Canada.

Wow your car is awesome! Incredible condition. Would love to see this car on Bring a Trailer (BAT) but it is clear the seller wants to hold on to it. The previous owner of my ITR was also in no rush to sell when I bought mine locally. The seller didn't really want or need to sell.
Some sources say there were 250 CDM 2001 Integra Type R. I actually have an email from Honda Canada stating 185 were sold. It is possible some were sold in 2002. They could not provide me with any further information so who knows.

That's interesting - very cool research. If only 185 were sold and 250 were made, what happened to the rest? Hrm.

I heard a tale once about a bunch being involved in a train crash and were scrapped/crushed. I always thought it was a BS story but maybe it wasn't after all. Supposedly the info originally came from somebody at Honda Canada. That would certainly explain it.

I was referring to the possible lower number comment. We may never know the reason and the story I heard could very well be BS. I don't even remember how it came up. I can tell you the person who told me worked at the Alliston plant back then and heard it from a Honda Canada employee.

The train wreck involved s2000's and tsx's. Lkq got the motors . I believe they weren't allowed to sell anything else from the cars . Occasionally a " train wreck" motor still pops up for sale . People were buying a few of them because of the zero miles.

Changed the heat shield bolts.. put the intake back in. I think I'm done for the season.
