What kind of maitenance for Type-R brakes?
Time for my brakes to be changed. I don't want to go with Honda brakes, because I want something a little more for performance and less brake dust, but I don't want to change much. What are some good pads and fluids or something to switch to for better stopping results?

I don't think a pad exists with better performance and LESS brake dust. I use Carbotech Panther XP; they have awsome performance but are dirty as hell. I have gunmetal wheels on my 98 CW, so it hides well.

Change my pads last week for the first time.....the stocks went about 43k....so i decided to go with OEM pads again and got them pretty cheap from Baranco Acura Discount Prices call @ 770-961-3007 or toll free @ 888-722-7262 and ask for the Acura store. Mention you are from Honda-Tech.

I definitely checking with Andie at Cobalt Friction Like George Mentioned.
I woudl not expect better braking results and less dust. It is a trade off.

Well I havethe option of AEM or Axxis. AEM is more exspensive, but you guys are saying Axxis is a good pad? Do I need to flush my brake fluid or something? Can I get my factory rotors turned or should I go and get some Brembo factory replacements?

you should bleed the brakes.
I'm using AEM pads and they work fine, don't know about dusting because the weather has been wet since i put mine it.
and yes you can turn the rotors, depends on the life left in them. Andie at cobalt has a great deal on new rotors.
