TypeRPauls ITR finally hits the Dyno!! Graph inside
Well i finally go everything done for my mild street set up and got it tuned by Lawrence of DSR (http://www.dynospotracing.com/) in San jose. Big to Austin for recomending him . Now onto my set up:
JDM 4-1 Header (thanks Marcus at Heel-toe)
SMSP high flow cat
Apexi N1 exaust (loud as **** now)
AEM CAI
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Filter
Stock fuel regulator (Lawance was nice enough to lend me his because my dumbass forgot to bring the nipples to change in my AEM fuel regulator)
Skunk2 Stage 1 Cams
Skunk2 Cam Gears
Skunk2 obdi harness
Hondata s200 with launch control and WOT shifts (thats fun!!)
Hondata intake manifold gasket
Sun Auto Grounding kit
Mobil one 5W-30 freash oil
New NGK Iridium IX's
on my final run i laid down 181.4 HP and 128.4 TQ (all SAE corrected on a dynojet)
Big thanks to everyone on the this board for all their help. the car is a kick in the pants to drive and it makes you want to drive at WOT all the time. I will be going to the drag strip to see what im pullling now on wedsday and will post up the results. all comments or suggestions are welcome.
Future mods will be injectors( im running 100% duity cycle on mine), jim fab motor mounts and traction bar

what should the #'s be if they are low? my tuner saitd it is probably closer to 185, but since the car has been on the dyno you usually loos a bit of hp on a hot motor

don't worry about absolute # value. #'s vary between different dynos.
what's important is that you gained ~21.x hp and ~20ft-lb of torque. that is a heck of a gain, i'd say. enjoy your car!

Excellent #'s IMO, especially for a mild setup. Enjoy! </FONT>

Re: (Cosworth)
i would agree that your numbers should be a little higher, but it could be related to just being a hot day. i have a GSR with ITR cams/mani and mild bolt-ons, and I dynoed 172 at DSR. with your higher compression and more aggresive bolt ons, i would expect closer to 190whp. also it looks like you could lower the VTEC point a little so that there isn't such a surge when it comes on. maybe to around 5200-5300 rpm.

nice #'s
i wish the dynojet would read all the way through the chart, but eh, what can you do!
looks great, and i wish i could have gotten my hondata tuned, but the lawrence was sick the day of my appointment and flaked out on me!

yeah... and maybe 1/4 mile/track times will mean something
i swear, fuggin' bench racers... maybe he hit his 181 like 5 seconds faster than another engine

Re: (TypeRPaul)
it's not a big deal about those track #'s... they'll improve the more often you hit the track. to you for having the ***** to do it correctly!
