power from headgasket?? gasket is for sealing in my book. use the thickest availbalbe as in oem 3 layer and reliability will come along.

Ive been using dual layer (remove the middle layer) stock gaskets for a long time and never had a problem. I always used a bit of copper sealant as well just in case. Currently Im on a stock 3 layer bored 84.5mm gasket.
Id like to add unless you are looking to squeeze out every last bit of compression on a fully built high compression motor, you arent going to notice a difference.
