Re: sorry its about oil again (DJHan)
Not this 'ol chestnut. LOL
I reakon it up to you..... well your car anyway.
I use Mobil 1 0w-40 in Sydney, Australia temp are from near 0 to 40 degrees C.
It was run-in properly, Dino oil changed at 2,000 KMS the 5,000 KMS at 10,000 KMS it got the good stuff, Tri-Synth.
It doesn't use any oil between oil changes ( every 10,000 KMS) unless we go to the track, then my baby only need a small top-up, maybe 50-100 mls ( a mouth full ). Currently up to 46.500 Kms approx.
But some folks can't use this oil because it's too thin. Either that, or the guys who put my motor together were right-on-it and did a top job.
It doesn't mater you me, as Mobil run a BMW for 1,000,000 KMS on this oil ( probably with regular oil changes) than took the parts out and measured them, they were all within Spec's for New parts. 1 million kms with no wear.....
That'll do me.
Later.

hey man whats up oil is oil brand dosent really make a difference the only thing that matters is the sae and api rating as long as those are all good if it has both of those stamps on it you'll be all good brand dosent mean **** chevron oil is just as good as what ever you match it up to just check the api and sae rating
