Question about Momo 4 Point Racing Harness

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this Racing Harness before?

http://www.group5motorsport.com/momo.../i-164694.aspx

Im looking to purchase a Harness but I don't want to spend as much as the Takatas if I don't have to. Was wondering if this works the same exact way as the Takata Long Harness?

FIA Approved... check! Hans Device compatible... check! Buying harnesses is like buying cartons of milk, you have to dig in the back for the one with the latest expiration date.

^ What he said.

Do yourself a favor and buy in early 2010, you will gain an extra year of use.

What racing series are you participating in that requires 4-point?

Re: Question about Momo 4 Point Racing Harness

Im not participating in any race series. My girlfriend is actually gonna be visiting the states near Christmas time and was hoping she could pick up one for me. I visit the track atleast 8-10 times a summer. Just wanted the harness for support as i only have a semi bucket seat.

Just make sure you aren't putting yourself in danger by using a 4-point harness.

If you are using a reclining seat, and/or do not have a roll-bar, a 4-point harness is likely to cause more injury or death in a rollover situation.

thanks alot guys. Hopefully i NEVER roll over :S.

As for compatibility with the DC2, the Momo Harness should bolt up the exact same way as the Takata Long Harness right using eye bolts at the same points?

Re: Question about Momo 4 Point Racing Harness

If you don't have a harness bar or a cage with a harness bar you can seriously hurt yourself.... Spinal compression and broken collar bones are nothing to play with.
