I’ve been a member for a long time but have never owned an R. That will hopefully change soon, however.

Basically, I’ve been ordering anything rubber: engine/trans/torque mounts, suspension & shifter bushings, water & power steering hoses, rubber brake lines, PCV and Evap hoses; door weatherstripping, window run channels, windshield moldings; the quarter glass windows (can’t get just the moldings on those). Brake caliper rebuild kits. CV boots. Air intake arm. Ball joints. Master cylinder cap/cap seal. Not rubber, but tail light gaskets deteriorate and let water in.

Along the same lines, also plastic items such as coolant overflow tank and cap, power steering reservoir cap.

After seeing some of what’s discontinued by Honda for the ITR, I went on partsgeek and ordered a Denso radiator (the ITR-specific slightly lighter one is nowhere to be found), a new complete Denso a/c compressor assembly, and a reman’ed Denso alternator with ITR amperage specs.

Gaskets (deterioration) and fasteners (rust) for the exhaust system. Exterior parts that fade and weather: wiper arms & blades, emblems, decals. Cowl cover.

The stuff I haven’t gotten to yet is the steering rack (Honda has a Showa reman), fuel system parts (the tank as well as some hoses are disco’ed), and the catalyst (disco’ed). I don’t need these parts for the car right now (knocks on skull) but all this is squirreling away for a future restoration when many more of these parts will be scarce or NLA. There’s the aftermarket for lots of things, except weatherstripping and run channels, cowl cover, other body stuff.

I’m still here. I Owned a 00 FBP ITR in 03-05. All though I dont own it anymore I still own my civic coupe When I joined HT back in the day.
