OEM USDM ITR header: Any differences between the 97/98 and the 00/01?
My 00 R is almost all stock, and the OEM exhaust manifold is one of the few pieces I need to make it 100%. My question is if there are any differences (particularly in fitment) among the 97 & 98 header versus the 00 & 01. I bought an OEM header for my 01 GSR a while back, and I remember there being a fitment difference between the 94-99 and the 00-01. Unknowingly, I bought a 98 GSR header, and it wasn't a direct fit on my 01. Do the ITRs follow this same pattern, or are all USDM ITR headers the same? For my 00 R, do I need a 00/01 manifold, or will a 97/98 bolt right up? Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, all 97-01 ITR Exhaust manifolds are the same.
Cast top end and stainless steel on the bottom half, while gs/ls/rs/gsr are entirely casted. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks.

no real performance difference from what you have or even looks for that matter, but if your going to spend money why not get the jdm itr header?

97, 98, 00 and 01 OEM exhaust manifolds are all 100% identical.
You should be able to ask in the FS/WTB forum (at the top of this page) and find one pretty cheap. They are a slight upgrade for non-ITR B-series motors, but not enough to demand a premium price.

Not planning to use it. Just wanted to go ahead and buy one to have on hand. If I ever sell the R, I'd like to be able to sell it as 100% bone stock. Currently, the intake & header are the only two modifications, and I already have the OEM intake/air box.
