OEM radio removal
anyone know where i can find a diagram on how to remove the OEM radio?
or can someone post how to remove it?
i.e. do i need to take the whole center console out like i did for the JDM shiftboot?

i pulled the ashtry when i did mine but i dont think its needed, but i dont remember but i remember i hated every minute of it...
go on the passenger side and look behind the radio and u will see a L bracket on the back of the radio bolting it to the metal framing behind the dash, loosen or take out the bolts that bolt it to the frame, then slide the radio forward. thats all i remember... if im wrong sorry.

8mm bolt heads with Phillips head centers need to be loosened only. then simply slide the radio/pocket assembly straight out. The trick is getting to the bolts. I recommend using a 1/4" 8mm socket attached to a "wobley" adapter on the end of a 6" or 8" extension. This way you can access the bolts from behind the pass. side corner of the console edge.
