^ are those just 2 sets of front NSX wheels on that R? Not to jack the thread but I'm looking for a set for my Civic but questioning fitment.

94-98 i believe came in gunmetal
98+ came in polished
those can be had for 400 cdn
They also made them in white but for some reason they were like 1200cdn.
all prices from my local dealership
they have really high offset like +50 or +55 but they have massive caliper clearance. they clear my spoon twin blocks with hella space to spare.I can see mono blocks fitting in there no problem.
i'm on the hunt for nsx front brakes to finish off the nsx footwork on the R

Wow, there's lots of misinformation here.
Stock wheels for the NSX were five-spoke silver 15"/16" in '91-93, seven-spoke gunmetal 16"/17" in '94-96 (yes, they look just like '00-01 ITR wheels except for diameter), seven-spoke brushed aluminum 16"/17" in '97-01, and 17"/17" in '02-05. New NSX wheels sell for somewhere in the range of $1200-1700 each, all years, all colors. You can pick up used sets of '91-93 for as low as $200 or less; sets of '94-01 may run you closer to $1000, and '02-05 $1500-2000; these prices may or may not include tires.
However, they are not direct bolt-ons for the ITR. One problem is the offset; they will rub without spacers, and with spacers, you lose the hubcentricity and the wheels will be susceptible to vibrations. Also, NSX wheels have different center bore, front vs rear; one axle it's 64 mm like the ITR, the other it's 70 mm so you'll need hubcentric rings (again, to avoid vibration).
All in all, it's a big PITA to try to get them to work, and it's more trouble than it's worth to try to overcome all the issues.

You don't absolutely need hubcentric rings. There are shops that can make custom spacers that are wheelcentric and hubcentric if you are that worried about it though.

Are the NSX wheels lighter or bigger or something... I ask because I cant see why someone would want to buy them since they look almost identical to the Type R wheel.. Just curious thats all.

I was trying to see if they would fit the ITR easily because if they were a direct bolt-on, they would enable me to use the same track wheels/tires on the NSX front as on both ends of the ITR. But it wasn't working.

nsxtasy knows wheels and tires. I always refer to his posts when shopping for rims or tires. Havent been let down yet. Im loving my Dunlop Direzza star spec's!

I use these as my street wheels. i have separate track wheels. for street I have not had any problems with my NSX rims.
I wouldn't mind if they were 10mm lower offset but i have not had any rubbing issues at all.
i wonder why i was quoted 400ish a wheel from my local dealership?
