New PIC Bushings/Control Arms
So after wanting these things since I was told PIC was gonna release them, Elaum(the guy who one them at expo) finally broke down and sold them to me. Looking forward to getting these things installed.
Along with PIC's stuff, I will also be doing the following:
Front lower ball joints
Wheel bearings all around
Possibly new studs and maybe some nutz-n-bolts
While I was out and about today, I snapped a few pics...
This is all I can do playing around...
Elaum, thanks again for hooking me up with these pieces! I look forward to getting out on track with this stuff!
On top of all new control arms and bushings, these are the "extra" parts I got aswell. Obviously the nuts and bolts are not mandatory but apparently I'm OCD.

Re: New PIC Bushings/Control Arms (coolhandluke)
Kinda sucks that he sold the 2nd best Expo prize IMO but that's a great pickup on your part.
ps, your picture borders are kinda cute.

Re: New PIC Bushings/Control Arms (get RIGHT)
Jim, you suck ... I wanted those so bad!!!
Congrats and please give a report on them ... Al and Jim will be at WE-Todd and will love the fact that you have these on the car. I am sure they will want the feed back too.
Hope Al chimes in and talks about when we might see these items on the market!

Those guys are awesome. I'm really looking forward to another Suspension class.

I actually jipped him the compensator arms. I had them under some sheets and forgot all about them.
I didn't want to sell them, as I really wanted to put them on my car, but with getting into an accident, I finally decided its time to get my car fixed. I knew Jim would give them a good home. Its a win-win situation.

Are you trying to alter the roll centre, or just replacing OEM stuff that's worn?

George, can you enlighten me(us) on roll center adjusters. I'v never heard an explaination/review from a non-bias source.

It's just a way to compensate the way the car's feel in a corner can sometimes be adversely affected by lowering the car.
If you're in the situation that I am in, you might eventually think about it. My car's about 220 Dynojet HP, no power steering, competition tyres, and N1 suspension. For an old man like me, the car's a bit of a beast and on a ripped up course like the way Summit Point Main Track is now, it can be tiring.
In theory, roll centre adjusting balljoints will compensate for the car's tendency to adopt an unusual lean in corners and help thereby with a more comfortable, flatter cornering attitude, especially if you're also trying to handle other issues at the same time, like a bumpy course or a distracting thing like passing a fast car in a corner.
Roll centre adjusting balljoints can be as cheap as $150 and all the way up to around $300.
I wouldn't recommend considering it for most drivers. But it's something to think about after you've made a number of other modifications and you're searching for a way to control the beast you have created.

When someone says "hardparker" that means they just show their ride and don't drive it....Jim (walker) comes to Expo/We-Todd events and tracks his ride with Mugen parts and all.
So when someone that doesn't track their car and only posts hardparking pics calls someone out .. i have to call it.
I don't care if you don't track your car, just don't call people out when you don't track your R and call them hardparkers.. FYI R stands for RACE (not show or rice)
