Default Need help on removing EVAP Purge valve & Vaccum w/out removing the canister.

I've searched, but didn't find what i was looking for.

I found this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=769705, but i don't want to remove the canister off my car.

Could anyone teaches me how to remove the EVAP w/out removing the canister?

Can i just do the following:
1) disconnect the hose from the canister to the EVAP Purge Valve.
2) remove the EVAP purge valve hose that goes to the intake manifold.
3) cap the intake manifold nipple.
4) cap the canister nipple (Canister to Purge valve)

no need to if you get it done as i mentioned above. the fumes will eventually exit underneath the car. theres a dumptube on passenger side

one reason to do that if you're having idle problems from obd1 ecu. if you're not having problem. no need to mess with it
