Moroso oil pan, but what kind of design? HELP
hi!
Moroso offers 4 wet sump oil pans. What design is exactly needed for road race/circuit racing? http://www.moroso.com/catalog/...11000
PS: my friend is looking for an H22 oil pan which is also perfekt for circuit racing. I have heard rumors that it is not good to use the DRAG oil pan for hard cornering action, some guys had oil pressure problems. There is only one oil pan for the H22 listed....is this a good one for circuit racing?
thanks guys!

Bingo
BTW, you should know that pan and the ITR tranny brace hate each other. Cutting of the brace is required for it to fit.

Just spoke with the POoGuy and I picked his PoObrains a little more about this issue....it seems a lot of times ITR guys get shafted in this region....like a lot of the big headers require this piece to be swapped out for a GS-R one etc.
Dylan had to remove one relatively large piece at the back of the brace and a small section at the front to fit the pan.... (angle grinder )
What's strange is, from his observation - this wouldn't have been an issue at all if Moroso had maintained the stock pan's dimensions near the brace....
PooGuy's last words "Moroso didn't do allllll their homework..." Personally I find that unacceptable.....
Good luck firing her up tonight!
