How come? To get the matching usdm itr cover? If so I went through the same problem when looking for a replacement valve cover, I always liked the JDM cover better but I was thinking that it might be best to get the usdm itr cover, but a brand new JDM cover came up for sale in the local classifieds for only 150$ (CDN) and that made the decision for me.

Yeah I wanted the USDM valve cover to match. I ended up ordering it. I might sell the JDM one or put it on my GSR.

What's on the jizzer? The JDM cover would look great and match the color of it I think. I've been playing with the idea of getting ukdm corners, side markers and tail lights, so I can switch up from the amber corners, side markers and tail lights with amber turn signal when i get bored of one look

I think it will look great but maybe too much red? I'm going to test fit it next time. I prefer oem amber corners but wouldn't mind ukdm corners. I want another set of ukdm tail lights but ehh lol. I don't want to take them off my GSR either.

I don't think it would be too much red, I think it would awesome especially with the spark plug cover that's on it now, but that's just my opinion whichever way u like it is the right way.

I still have the original usdm itr cover but it looks like it's been to hell and back, and most likely has as well as a spare JDM cover, I am going to eventually restore the usdm one and try going with a crinkle finish flat cw valve cover for the spare, I haven't seen one done yet myself. Although I'm sure it has.

Can't wait to see your itr back together it will be like new again!

Yeah I think it will look great. I'm going to put it on when I'm not lazy. I just adjusted my valves and changed my vc gasket on Friday too. Then I decided to buy a new vc yesterday LOL. That sounds nice it would be really nice. Post pictures when you do it.

Yeah I can't wait either. Just waiting on my order from Acura so I can assemble the motor.

Any reason not OEM bearings? We always use OEM on our builds but I guess it doesn't matter too much for a DD.

My Machinist recommended ACL Bearings, he said he's always used them and had no issues. He's assembling the short block for us as well so we have warranty if we have any issues.
