So it has a CD player/spectrum analyzer on the upper unit and a cassette player on the lower unit behind a motorized face. Radio can be made to work with a frequency converter but I'm not much of a radio station guy. I bought a Bluetooth cassette player and use that to listen to podcasts/Music through my phone. Only downfall is that you gotta recharge the Bluetooth cassettes but I have 2 so I always bring one extra on long trips (they're like $15 ). All Gathers Honda accessories are plug and play. I have a set of gathers speaker coming in that are plug and play with no adapters or splicing wires. That's the real reason I chose to go with gathers components.

Thanks man.

I picked up a few parts that I need to get this closer to stock form.

Stock ITR Fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator and fuel line to replace the AEM fuel package the car has. Waiting on a new fuel filter to come in so that I can put it all on

Also picked up a ITR muffler for cheap off local Craigslist. Needs a little elbow grease before I put it on

Ended up selling the SSR Type C wheels and after some deep searching (Good condition 15" Gunmetal wheels are getting really hard to find) found a fairly clean set. These are pictures from the seller but should arrive this week. Wheels did not come with center caps so ordered a new set of caps (before they go discontinued like everything else)
Wheel 1

Wheel 2

Wheel 3

Wheel 4

Was looking through my stuff and forgot I had all these!

That's all for now. I plan on swapping some stock stuff over from the other ITR in the coming weeks such as the exhaust B- pipe, steering wheel, and stereo. Stay tuned

It might be too late. But I have a pretty nice set of gunmetal ITR 15's with center caps. Pretty mint actually, I think they were refurbished. I'm probably going to sell them b/c I don't need them. I used them on my red gsr.

Small update... Friend of mine stumbled on a Craigslist posting for a stock ITR intake system so I contacted the seller. The guy wasn't really famiar with online selling and didn't know about PayPal. After I filled him in on how to set it all up the transaction went smooth. He told me that he bought his ITR new in 00 and sold a couple years later due to having another child. Said he had the stock intake in his storage for over 15 years and still looks as good as new! He even threw in some Comptech intake brackets that he had in the box (though I have no use for it)

very welcome man. Glad it'll be put to use.

The quest back to stock continues...
Replaced the AEM fuel package for the stock setup with a new fuel filter.
The old...

The new

In case anyone is interested, these are for sale as a package. Should have the wheels on tomorrow so I'll snap some pictures soon as it's sitting on all 4.

Great work! Some excellent finds on stock parts. Are you planning to swap back to stock brakes as well?

Yup, these hubs will be swapped out with my grey R Stock hubs soon as I get the chance. Suspension will also be swapped over to a stock set my grey R came with. Might get around to doing some of that this weekend hopefully. Other than that i will be putting the stock exhaust on as soon as I get ahold of a 98 Spec header

Got a few more hours of wrench time in
Put the OE antenna back on

rear Interior tear down

Also added the rear seat brackets that had been Missing. Believe one of the previous owners used this car for drag so they took off all the unnecessary brackets. Thankfully my 01 R had them

and all back together.

took the steering wheel set up off and OEM wheel back on

Picture makes it look grey but it's black

Next should be the 5 lug hubs that will be swapped to the ones off my 01....

Let us know how you are going to deal with the secondary O2 sensor. I always like to learn the different ways to take care of it.

As far as I know, that's a heat sensor in the jdm cat. I also had an exhaust shop take it out and weld in an O2 bung. It fits perfectly for O2 sensor location. But cel still comes on because O2 is too close to exhaust. I can't fit an extension because then the O2 bangs against the the car.

Coming along nicely. Curious if you removed the side crash bar under the rear seat or if was missing from the get-go? There is debate as to whether it is a safety concern yet some remove it when they put a full cage in the car.

Here's a thread on it but the pics are long gone unfortunately: https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-...er-itr-724414/

Just thought I'd bring it up in case you were not aware

Was not aware, thank you! So the previous owner had stripped a lot of the unnecessary brackets and such because this was used as his drag car. I received it without the bars but thankfully my 01 R shell had them.
