Re: KENDALL just showed up....big plans for his ITR (chad)
PICTURE UPDATE:
I took the last half hour and went ahead and removed the remaining A/C components for the engine bay (I'm a weight *****). Also, Padawan's power steering removal kit was accidentally destroyed during the installation so I have decided to remove it and attempt to redesign it at a later date to suit my needs better. Also, due to the idiotically small size of the CX intake, my ram air system proved to be ineffective, so it was removed as well. I also relocated the coolant reservoir back to the proper side of the engine bay as the lack of the ram air system freed up it's original location (though I moved it back a few inches to still allow air in from the original location of the passenger side high beam). There were also various clips, screws, brackets, and other odds and ends that were removed for the sake of "cleaning things up a bit."
Here are the pics:
And my personal favorite.
Let me know what you think.

I'm hoping it will be finished with the K20 by then, but I won't know for another couple of weeks. I still need to get my schedule straightened out to see if I can attend at all.

I'm thinking about getting one of those OBX D series valve covers off of ebay that say "Type R" on them.

That's right, send me $50 and I'll custom make you one.
On a side note, they are amazingly effective. I don't know that I'll ever go back to a standard filter.

HaHa, thats crazy! I say fully build the sohc motor, turbo it, and crank up the boost. Screw k-series. J/k Either way you are on to something people will remember about for a long time.

Well, I actually had it pretty dialed in with the B18 in there. Due to the shift in weight balance, the uneven axles, and the loss of LSD, I'm expecting the handling to royally suck.

EG's and DC2's use identical mounting arrangements (so long as they were both originally equipped with manual transmissions). The stock d series mounts were used.

they are STOCK MOUNTS just that....ITR MOUNTS WOULD HAVE WORKED.....tranny mount is the same rear mount is the same...depending on you single cam engine it is the same.....
it is the brackets that you need to worry about....that is why i laugh when people say they need a bseries mount....
