good thing that this car has some good plans for the future

that said nothing about only one swap going on
i was doing a totally different swap that was started yesterday

also the swap was already done
i was just doing some clean up and some exhaust stuff
i like to have my stuff installed clean

haha kendall you are the man, let me know when i can get that front end, i know its gonna be hard to keep that throttle under control from the amount of power you will be gaining from the almight d series motor.

thats awesome.. never seen a d series in an integra before.. i know they made some in japan but never seen it.. that f#cker has to be slow..

Well guys, as of 10:00 this morning I was back at my house in Miami.

The will be a JDM K20A from a DC5 Integra Type R going in my car this summer. That is the plan. Chad now ownes the original engine from my ITR and it is now his to do with what he pleases (as long as he finishes paying for it ). Plans for the B18C5 are his and his alone to make. But I do have plans for the K20 which will remain undisclosed at this time. Things have already been set into action that will ensure that my plans are carried out. Have fun with the engine, Chad.

As for the current status of my car, it shall be known henceforth as "The Single Cam Excitement." The engine is a bone stock 150k engine from none other than the infamous Civic CX. That's right ladies and gentlemen, 70 whole horses power that beast, at the crank. Gas milage is unreal, I made it through Georgia expending only 1/8th of a tank, and all of Florida, from the state line to my house just South of Miami, took right at a full tank. I'll bet nobody elses ITR can do 90 mph while only turning over 3100 rpm's. I may do a mini-me conversion just for some added pep when I go back to North Carolina so that I can deal with large hills/mountains, or I may turbocharge it. Right now, I have to rip the remaining parts of the A/C out, fix a few various rattles, seal a leak in the clutch fluid reservoir, and adjust the idle up just a bit. It also sounds like the clutch may be on it's last legs, contact is decent, but loose enough to require some fancy footwork when starting in first. It may be getting a replacement in the near future, probably nothing special, just a stock replacement. I can't really blame it on the fact that my car is a heavier car, because my car weighs less than a CX with four passengers does.

Actually there's a guy in GA named Guy Serapian (he was in Super Street with a JDM Front Integra - article was called "JDM in Georgia") who dropped a D16Z6 Ex engine into his Integra while Charles Madrid built his B18C1.

This was back in 2000 or so.
