Default Just got Toda Spec Bs for my ITR

I just got Toda Spec Bs for my ITR, lookin to see what would run this baby good. I was looking at the Toda Timing belt and Valve Springs. Will that be all I need or do I need to upgrade my retainers as well?

For those who have ITR with Toda Spec B cams, your experience and advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Assuming other things are stock: Your compression is too low, you need upgraded valve springs, you need adjustable cam gears, bigger injectors, JDM style header, new fuel management, among other things to make them run well. Not a drop in and drive type of cam.

B's will run just fine with stock valvetrain, JDM-style header, intake, cam gears, and V-AFC.

They'll run better with the rest of the stuff.

The cams i bought these from are affiliated with inline pro, and he ran them on type r valve train with no problems, just curious thats all. I'll definitely look into the cam gears and valve springs and the toda belt.

You will need higher compression to get the most out of them. Beyond that- you will need larger injectors and a good ECU (Hondata).

Here is a dynoplot of my car (12.5 comp 310 cc/min injectors) on a 81.5mm bore B18C5 with stock head

With headwork and more tuning you should be able to get even more power out of them....
