I've been dreading this day
I don't know about everyone else, but I absolutely DREAD two days of the year: April 15th and today, the day that I switch to snow tires for the winter. I waited as long as I could to make the switch - it looks like it's starting to snow for the first time here this winter. My Blizzak's aren't that bad as far as snow tires go, but my car handles like a boat now. Can't wait 'til spring when I get some F#@KEN tires (Azenis).

haha, that's true, friends don't let friends listen to rap-metal Only heavy metal and death metal (it sure would be gay but instead of a smiley face I feel like I need a little sign of the beast to put up here).

Hey bat, is it snowing up there where you live? Whoah thats crazy, there are no signs of snow dipping down a lil south to where I live, and we're only a few hours away. I'm sure you wont need them long on the car though, with our crazy kansas weather.

Re: I've been dreading this day (Dr Pooface)
I always wait until the final hours of April 15th to file my taxes, never earlier.
Now that I've been home for a few hours, it's stopped flurrying. No snow stuck so far, so maybe I was a bit premature with the snow tires. When they took my (stock) re010's off this morning, they couldn't stop commenting about how bald and chunked they were. I still told them to throw the re010's in my trunk. I'm such a packrat when it comes to car parts.

I just picked up some steelies and snow tires for $75 from a buddy of mine. He had sold his stock rims off his R and the guy gave him the steelies and Continental's and $650 cash. He never used them so he sold them to me. I don't think the tires are actually snow tires, but at least all seasons. They will sure be better than the Kumho's.
OBTW, the rims and tires were a package from tirerack. When I called about them last year, they told me it would cost almost $600. I think I got a pretty good deal.
